Independent play does not come easy, but it's so rewarding and fun to watch when it does! As therapists, we can always use our sessions to encourage language and cognition in play experiences while educating parents on realistic expectations and ways to help their children grow!

I have bad news…August is here, and some of you will be headed back to work next week! For those of you in private practice, many of your clients will be back to all-day learning, which can be tough for our little friends to adjust to(which means we really have to bring our A-game to those sessions).
